This article is just encouraging women to be selfish. The first line was good and to the point but after that... well, for example, it's all very well to say 'never make excuses for his behaviour' but we need to see the whole picture to understand why he is behaving as he is. As for 'do not agree to be friends with him because friends treat each other better than that' - well has the author heard of forgiveness? We all do bad things to people we love but we want forgiveness. Forgiveness goes both ways. 'he shouldn't always know where you are' fine if you are also ok to not always know where he is!! But in this context it sounds like game playing. 'only comit to a man that gives you everything that you need, financially, emotionally (spiritually)' The 'financially' part is just purely materialistic (no-wonder many men are warey about women wanting them for their money) and it's ALL purely selfish. Fact is that no human being can give another human everything that they need!! If women follow these guidelines then the future for relationships is looking bleak indeed. I'd advice men to run from such women! This is a list of how to play games in dating and how to set about getting what you want, it's not how a great relationship should be.

there is nothing wrong with setting high standards for yourself when it comes to choosing a potential mate, saves you time and heartache, if you don't waste your precious time on something you know isn't going to work, if your potential mate does not have the qualities you want in a spouse while you are dating, they won't miraculously have them when you are married, so go ahead, set your standards high, and don't settle for less than everything you want.
